Riot At Mile 12 Lagos Nigeria, 6 killed, shooting still ongoing..

A riot has reportedly broken out in the Mile
12 area of Lagos state
About six people are feared dead, many
others injured
A school within the area has reportedly been razed Emerging reports suggest that there is an going
riot in Mile 12. The Punch reports that
hoodlums are currently
vandalising vehicles.
An unconfirmed source has disclosed that a school
in the area has been razed.
The source further informs that about 6 people
have been killed while some policemen have been injured in the row.
Unease at Mile 12 following a riot in which 16 people have been reported killed.
There are speculation that an ethnic clash might be the cause of the fracas.
As of the time of filing this report, a heavy gun-battle was still underway, even as security operatives make some arrests.
There is a heavy presence of security operatives around Mile 12 and its environs
Some alleged hoodlums involved in the riot at Mile 12. 
The chaos in Mile 12 has affected transportation and movement in Ketu and Ikorodu, as people are
running towards areas around Mile 12.
A brief protest was held at the BRT main
terminal in Ikorodu, as passengers claimed that the bus attendants kept selling tickets even though they knew there was no headway through the Mile 12. 
            
Many people are stranded and business activities
are grounded within the Agboyi-Ketu local
government area, even as people are in a frenzy seeking to go as far away as they can from the unrest.
Efforts to reach the manager of the BRT terminal in Ikorodu have proved abortive however, some other junior staff who are unauthorized to speak
on the issue, tried to pacify the protesting
passengers, saying that their requests will be met shortly.
Some other sources who spoke "says that there was no clue as to when
they are likely to live the terminal as the bus drivers have been ordered to remain put, till there
is confirmation that the storm in Mile 12 has been quelled."
