“Severally, I have rejected offers to play for the Austrian national team. It is not right for me to play for another country after representing my country at all the junior levels. I know that one day I will have my chance and everybody will know that in Austria, we equally play quality football.”

“Nigeria has a lot of talented players that can give her quality representation. We can also open the camp for everybody to come and showcase what he can do. Honestly I feel bad that we crashed out yet again. We really need fresh blood to rebuild the team” added Olarenwaju, who also revealed that the Nigerian club he supports is Enyimba International of Aba.
