Remo Stars of Ijebu Ode is confirmed relegated from the NPFL after loosing to ABS in Ilorin, the Sky Blues Stars will be playing in the Second division next season.
Table topper Plateau United got a point from the Sani Abacha Stadium after playing a lone goal draw with the host Kano Pillars, to stay at the top with 59 point, while the second place MFM FC also played goalless with Eyinmba at the Agege Stadium, making it the fourth consecutive draw between both team in the NPFL (P4,D4). FC Ifeanyiubah defeated Nasarawa United in Nnewi to move to the 5th position with just a point behind 4th placed Enyimba and thus making them a contender for the CAF Confederation Cup ticket.

In other matches Sunshine Stars defeated 3rd place Akwa United, with a lone goal from Otegbeye to move the Owena Waves to the 11th position. Shooting Stars move out the relegation zone after a win over visiting Gombe United at the Lekan Salami Stadium.
Wikki Tourist and Rangers International played draw, same result was also recorded at the Liberation Stadium in Port- Harcourt, where Kastina United got an extra minutes goals to draw level with the host, Rivers United who are now in the rivers of relegation.
