Tanker drivers tell NNPC: "We are not going on strike"
Oil Tanker Drivers Branch of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has guaranteed the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) that it had no arrangement to set out on any strike activity. 

PTD Chairman, Otunba Oladiti Salman, who talked with the NNPC Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs, Mr. Ndu Ugbamadu, on Friday expressed that the indicated final offer to government by NUPENG over the condition of a few streets in the Country was a trick. 

Otunba Salman said PTD unequivocally repudiated the announcement which has been inclining in the online networking, saying the deception is a computed endeavor by insidiousness producers to cause freeze in the Country. 

The PTD Chairman revealed that his association was in agreement with government having had a conference Thursday first February in Abuja with the Honorable Minister of Works, Housing and Power, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, where he noted far reaching reports of on-going repairs and recreations of harmed interstates were examined. 

Otunba Salman clarified that at the gathering, the association was consoled by the far reaching reports of all the on-going repairs and remaking of the harmed interstates in parts of the Country, notwithstanding the guarantee of initiation of palliative takes a shot at them. 

He educated that PTD would keep on championing the interests of its individuals dependably.
